Global Governors Club

   Global Governors Club is part of and is one of the Tools of the Global Governors Event Space, one of the three components of the Spaces of the Global Initiative for Sustainable Development of Territorial Entities.

   The primary mission of creating the Instruments included in the Global Governors Event Space, the Global Initiative for Territorial Entities, is to bring together the Governors and the Heads of Territorial Entities from different countries of the world to exchange innovative experience and successful management practices and sustainable development of the Territorial Entities, encouraging the development of formations in the creative, technological, economic, social and other directions, creating a Global Dialogue Platform for Governors and Heads of Territorial Entities for achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals.

   

   Global Governors Club is a voluntary association of Governors and Heads of Territorial Entities worldwide.

   Global Governors Club is called upon to form a representative office from the Heads of Territorial Entities of the world from different continents, to establish a Global Governors Summit, determining the date, place, and format of the first Summit, organizing an invitation to the Governors and the Heads of Territorial Entities to participate in the Global Governors Summit, to receive support Summit from UN bodies and International Organizations of the UN system.

   Governors and Heads of Territorial Entities who are members of the Global Governors Club may be members of the Global Executive Committee of the Global Governors Summit, as proposed by the Global Governors Club.

   The working meetings of the Global Governors Club are held at least once a year on the days and locations of the Global Governors Summit and the World Forum of Territorial Entities.
  The sessions of the Global Governors Club address practical issues of the implementation of the Global Initiative for Territorial Entities, including:
   1. Identification of countries and cities for the next Global Governors Summit and the World Forum of Territorial Entities;
   2. Election of members of the Expert Council and the International Independent Committee of the Global Award for Sustainable Development;
   3. Supporting the Initiative of the United Nations Program on Territorial Entities and other International Programs;
4. Preparation of recommendations for the Global Governors Summit on the nominations of Governors and Heads of Territorial Entities to the members of the Global Executive Committee, financial and organizational issues.

   The members of the Global Governors Club may be the Governors and Heads of Territorial Entities - entities of territorial division within States (states, regions, provinces, lands, cantons, and other entities of sovereign States) that are currently part of the State and are part of it.

   Territorial Entities members of the UN Member States may become members of the Global Governors Club and Members of the Global Initiative for Territorial Entities.

The Global Governor's Club offers three types of Memberships:

Diamond Member of the Global Governors Club

For Governors and Heads of Territorial Entities (states, provinces, republics, lands, districts, cantons and other Territorial Entities of the countries) equated to the status of Governor.

Platinum Member of the Global Governors Club

For Deputy Governors, as proposed by the Governor and Ex-Governors.

Gold Member of the Global Governors Club

For members of the Governor’s Team, as proposed by the Governor

Organizational and financial issues, including the determination of membership fees, will be determined by the Governors at the first meeting of the Global Governors Club.
